We have everything...
There are tonnes of pricebots about (froogle, kelkoo, you know them all) and I'm not about to substitute them, they do a fine job. I post what I think are quality deals, good games/gaming related equipment that is a good deal at the asking price.
Where applicable, I will post referral links. These links will lead to me getting commission from the retailers, often varying between 1 and 10%. Did this this morning in a local Currys. Pissed the manager of a treat.
That's a nice bonus.
If they are going to harp on about a policy, and attempt to attract customers with it, they should be gracious when their marketing has actually worked and a customer tried to give them some money.
The manager immediately spluttered "sorry we don't honour that as they don't have it in stock".
I was like... "huh? 'Cus I just rang them and they just got 50 copies in."
After about literally 10 minutes of farting about and making phone calls they finally honoured it.
Then they just had to tackle the challenge of working out 110% of the difference...
I work at Toys R Us and the offer is not on anymore, unfortunately. It was just for the first few days.
Shame, thanks for the heads up though.
I price matched Asda at John Lewis Liverpool. Got it for £26.97
