Head here and grab the mplayer and libdi, follow the instructions, and you should be able to play DVD-Video on your Wii.

There is no change in price for you, but if you prefer not to use referral links then you only need to browse the homepage of the retailer and search for the item.

I can easily understand how to use the mplayer program, but I'm at a loss with the dvd libraries... The instructions say "type make to add it to the libogc"
Does that mean that I add it to the libraries on my computer, so it'll be usable when programming, and all programs that need it will have the libraries linked statically? Or does it mean I need to add it to the Wii's libraries?
If so, how do I do that? Through the GC linux program?
All you need to do is run the "installer.dol" like any other homebrew (obviously renaming it to 'boot.dol') and then you should be set to go. The rest of the stuff included in the .zip is just for developers ;D
Ah, thanks. The instructions weren't explicit enough on that matter for my liking.
