The idea behind SavyGamer is simple: Everyone has a budget and the best way to push that budget is to shop smart.
There are tonnes of pricebots about (froogle, kelkoo, you know them all) and I'm not about to substitute them, they do a fine job. I post what I think are quality deals, good games/gaming related equipment that is a good deal at the asking price.
Where applicable, I will post referral links. These links will lead to me getting commission from the retailers, often varying between 1 and 10%. There is no change in price for you, but if you prefer not to use referral links then you only need to browse the homepage of the retailer and search for the item.

Turns out Argos haven't even got a date on the next shipment of GTA4, and all stores anywhere near me are completely out of it. So it looks like I'm in for one of those torturous waits for a date i don't have.
Heheh, i even went up to a twin-tailor Argos lorry stopped at a crossing today to ask if he was on his way to my local branch, alas he wasn't, but found humour in my reason for asking.
Sorry to hear about the delay, I'm sure it will just make it all the sweeter when you finally do get it.

Yeah, it looks like they have jacked the price of the console up by around £20, so it still takes the same amount of money off, it's just coming off a bigger total.
Don't worry though, I am keeping my eyes peeled for a good 360 bundle, as I am in the market for one. As soon as something comparable is available I'll be posting it here.

Here's one i've known about for a few weeks now, it was the one i was originally going to get, but they removed the Buy button without an explanation so i assumed they had finished with that bundle. (That and the customer services guy i got when i phoned up told me the same thing).
But in actual fact it turns out Play.com have been getting bundles without the game, so they quickly removed the ability to buy it to prevent customers from getting messed about.

It's a very good deal, the game is essentially free - or the box is only 155. Whichever way you want to look at it.
They are trying to get it sorted by tomorrow, but frankly i just think there is a world shortage of GTA4 at the moment.
