Check this video out, and be amazed at how quickly the collective hard work of a bunch of really talented bedroom programmers have put together a fantastic solution for Wii homebrew:
It looks slick as hell, certainly on par with a lot of commercial software, and it's still in beta.
I can't wait for the public release.
All these applications are being loaded of an SD card, and the channel also has support for loading software from a USBGecko or even TCP/IP (which you actually see in action when linux is loaded).
For those interested in the technical details, this channel is powered by devkitPPC/libOGC.
I will be posting, with impressions, as soon as it is publicly released.

Oh hey, I hadn't even noticed that.
I'm sure it'll be in the pipeline, this is still a beta after all.
